A mais perigosa conseq\u00fc\u00eancia dos danos de calor \u00e9 a HIPERTERMIA, que consiste numa fal\u00eancia da capacidade de termorregula\u00e7\u00e3o de origem central (hipotal\u00e2mica). Infelizmente, o primeiro sinal \u00e9 confus\u00e3o mental e fadiga, de modo que a v\u00edtima pode n\u00e3o perceber o que est\u00e1 acontecendo. A progress\u00e3o da hipertermia \u00e9 r\u00e1pida (minutos). Se estiver muito escura (cor de coca-cola), encaminhar \u00e0 Emerg\u00eancia hospitalar<\/li>\n<li>Observar sintomas al\u00e9rgicos (edema, urtic\u00e1ria, dificuldade respirat\u00f3ria) e, se grave, N\u00c3O TENTAR MEDICAR: Emerg\u00eancia hospitalar<\/li>\n<li>N\u00e3o encanar com o peso: a primeira rea\u00e7\u00e3o de aclimata\u00e7\u00e3o ou contra agress\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica \u00e9 o aumento r\u00e1pido de volume plasm\u00e1tico.
