This offer was made by Brannon Pierce Williams. For no special reason other than generosity and willingness to help. It is not that I haven’t seen this happen before. I’ve benefitted from this type of unconditional generosity a couple of times. In 2012, Joel Mott simply adopted me at a World Champioship and I’m pretty sure my victory is in great part a result of his coaching. In 2014, Mike Wolfe adopted me at CanAm and I hit my highest Wilks ever, being 6th all time best in my class.<\/p>\n

These people do it to total strangers because probably a fellow powerlifter is by definition not a total stranger to them. They are brothers in a brotherhood.<\/p>\n

Not many people like that, but enough to give me hope to face the Dark Side of the Force, which is always lurking, we all know.<\/p>\n
